How we judge a posture app

The same four questions we hold our own app to.

Is it calibrated to you?

A fixed idea of good posture breaks the moment your camera sits at an angle. The app should learn your upright and your slouch.

Will you keep it running?

Blurred screens, meowing cats and streaks feel motivating for a week. The test is whether it is still running in month three.

Can you check the privacy claim?

Every app on this list says it is local. The good ones let you verify it: open code, or a page that lists every host and a firewall test.

Does the price match the software?

An app that runs on your own Mac has no server bill. A one-time price, or free, is the honest shape. A subscription needs a reason.

Try ours. It is free, and it stays out of your way.

macOS 13+, Apple Silicon. Nothing from the camera leaves your Mac.
